Jack O'Shea was in many peoples opinion the greatest
Kerry footballer that ever lived. A massive, broad and sweeping
statement coming from a county that has produced many of the greatest
players ever. Terrace Talk presenter, Weeshie Fogarty is proud
to add this classic interview to the already comphrensive list
of Kerry GAA greats.
Jacko was born in the town of Caherceiveen South Kerry. He won
seven senior
All-Ireland medals with Kerry and a host of underage titles. He
won six all-star awards in a row - a unique record. He also captained
Ireland to victory against Australia in their own country. He
played on the Kerry team from 1976 until he retired in 1992.
Jack O'Shea was probably the greatest Gaelic footballer of all
